Today I'm showing you step by step how to paint figures in watercolor.
I am painting on Saunders Waterford Cold Press 140lb paper. I have my surface tilted to 35 degrees. I use a variety of brands of brushes. I mainly stick to a large mop, medium round and smaller synthetic brush with a point.
Here are the list of pigments on my palette:
    Burnt Sienna
    Cadmium Red
    Cadmium Yellow Medium
    Cerulean Blue
    Cobalt Blue
    Cobalt Teal Blue
    Cobalt Turquoise
    Lavender
    Neutral Tint
    Payne's Gray
    Quinacridone Gold
    Raw Sienna
    Raw Sienna Light
    Raw Umber
    Rose Madder Permanent
    Ultramarine Blue
If you would like to purchase some of the brushes I feature in this video you can take a look at my Amazon Affiliate link: www.amazon.com...

New subscriber here. Might have been a challenge but you pulled it off beautifully. Professional artist here since 1995 but just recently became interested in water color. Your channel is a gem. I’ll keep hanging out here👍

You do an absolute amazing job teaching and solving these specific issues that we, as amateur painters, don't really get how to rationally approach, although we get that the output isn't great. Thank you for making it clear and easy to understand. Lovely video!! 😊👌

you are awesome! I just started painting landscapes because of your videos (I always said to myself, I can't paint landscapes)... you are helping so much and you are really good at analyzing what needs to be done and also to explain what you know. Thank you so much!

Thank you for this demo. Can you tell me how damp or dry was the sky when you added the roof?

What’s hard for me is learning to sketch….I’m working on creating a painting of my grandfather and I sitting on our front porch,a favorite memory. I’ve sketch it on a 6x9 but would you recommend going larger? I’m just learning watercolor.

Hi Matthew, it's better to have no mustache and a beard than the other way.😊
